Extremely entertaining and mesmerizing as it sways to the music throughout the neighborhood, and there are people everywhere! Excitement is in the air and the last thing you think of, is that it’s 2:00 AM!

You can always find something to eat at this hour, and most likely there will be crowds of people everywhere doing the same thing! During the day we rarely go more than 6 hours or so without being hungry again for another meal. So if you have dinner at 6 or 7, than most likely you’ll be hungry again at 2:00AM! Right?

Then there’s the food…and lots of it! Any type of treat you want from Mexican to Danish pastry! Of course you’ll choose something that goes with that fancy cocktail in your hand, whether it be alcoholic or non-alcoholic, they all look sparkling beautiful!

By now, it’s at least 3:00am and you probably need to wear off some of that Prime Rib you may have eaten, so it’s time to find a smooth and romantic nightclub to finish off the perfect day…or night, or morning?

I feel that most people have more fun on their second night here since they have been up all day & start to tire around 2:00AM. Then, they sleep in, start fresh, and by 2:00 AM they’re ready to paint the town! And here in Las Vegas we’re ready with our party hats on!

Even though there’s always something going on that’s new and refreshing in Las Vegas, the competition will always be here. That is- the race between the Casinos to see who can come up with the best entertainment for the year, the best restaurants, and yes, the best room rates! And then there’s the best family choice, the best shopping etc.
There really isn’t anything that hasn’t been turned into the “best of” here in Las Vegas that has the dazzle to excite even the most mediocre of fancies! I think the selection of everything from night clubs to shopping has surpassed even the most avid participant. And what about all the events which take place once a year?

My favorite pick last year for favorite “New Event” to arrive on the scene is the NASCAR Awards Ceremony! New York always did seem like a strange place to have it anyway. (only my opinion) Here in Las Vegas we just love to gather on the Strip and watch all the cars & drivers parade through the anxious crowds!

Speaking of crowds, did you hear- we now have our fireworks back for the New Year’s Eve bash? Most of us locals have a favorite vantage point where we enjoy the performance best, ours being the bridge out in front of the Venetian. This is mainly because we know the back-roads so as to make our escape easier once the fireworks have ended. If you’re into people watching, this is where the action is- everything from sequined evening dresses with 4” heels to a pair of old torn blue jeans & sweat shirt.

Although our weather here isn’t as bad as other parts of the country, it never ceases to amaze me how many women still walk around with strapless gowns and mini-dresses when it’s a mere 38-40 degree outside! I suppose if they arrived here from an area that was 10 below, then it seems warm to them. As for myself, I wore gloves.

Anyway the fireworks were the best ever, and I can’t wait for the 4th of July! You see we party people here in Las Vegas are always looking for another reason to celebrate! So no matter what time of year you choose to visit our sparkling city, please do yourself a favor and plan on going home tired after a long trip of merriment! Oh, and don’t shop until you get here or you’ll wish you had waited. What ever it is you like, we have more of it here at the best price
